Título original: Altai, the Prince of the Eagles

Sipnosis: A russian alpinnist, Nicolai, tries to escape from his routine climbing the Altai Mountains (Mongolia) along with his best friend. In an unfortunate accident his friend dies and he gets badly injured.After rescuing him from a certain dead, a group of Kazakhs will take care of him a couple of days in wich he is unconcious. When Nicolai recovers, the Kazakhs using a translation dictionary, tell him that all the crossing points to the nearest city are closed until the spring. They do not have ways of comunication, so he will have to stay with them several months. The Kazakhs are nomads, lovers of falconry, live in gers (tents made of skin and wood), they have an easy life and, above all things, they apreciate friendship. All of them receive "the outsider" with open arms, looking forward to share with him their way of life. But it will be Altai, a boy, who during that time, will give him back the joy of life, showing him a new way of living in which Nicolai will find himself again. Altai is a film without big ornaments but with the big ambition of touching every spectator´s heart. It is a breath-taking feature with a well documented background of great beauty.
